We draw upon the rich traditions and experiences of immigrant families in the Excelsior district, harnessing their wisdom to cultivate sustainable farming practices that benefit us all. Join us to connect to Mother Earth, honor Ohlone Ancestors, relate to our ancestors, and learn about the plant-cestors of this land. All while learning, practicing, and integrating Hummingbird Farms five foundational community principles (land restoration/regeneration, intercultural unity, intergenerational relationships, community governance, collective popular education).
