Welcome to PODER’s Text Group! By opting into our messaging service, you join a community-driven initiative rooted in empowering immigrant and Latinx communities in San Francisco’s Mission and Excelsior districts. Here’s how we protect your privacy and the rights you have over your information.
1. Program Description**:
By joining PODER’s Text Group, you agree to receive updates and information about community events, civic engagement opportunities, and resources related to environmental justice, housing action, and community health. Our messages are community-centered and designed to inform, inspire, and empower collective action for a just, sustainable future.
2. Opt-Out:
You may cancel the SMS service at any time by texting “STOP” to our short code. After you send this message, you will receive a confirmation SMS to verify your choice, and you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you decide to rejoin, simply sign up again.
