Sofia Bastida is a DACAmented community organizer from El Estado de Mexico, Mexico. She migrated to the United States at the age of three settling in beautiful North Central Washington. Growing up in an agricultural community, she started training employers on best tactics to protect employees in the event of a workplace ICE audit or raid.
Sofia moved to the Bay Area in 2019, joining Mujeres Unidas y Activas (MUA), where she organized with latina immigrant women to advance immigrant rights and improve workplace conditions for domestic workers.
