POSTPONED: No Beast in the Mission: Let’s take the Planning Commission

June 9, 2015 by adiaz

June 18, 2015

San Francisco City Hall

1 Dr. Carlton B Goodlet Pl., San Francisco, CA 94102

Planning Commission, Room 400

Say no to the demolition of 50,000 sq ft of light industrial and artists’ space in the Mission District!

The proposed luxury housing project and parking lot would tear down nearly an entire block on Bryant Street displacing Inner Mission (formerly CELLspace), an artist space; Tortilla Flats, a family-run Latino owned business; as well as local businesses that provide blue collar jobs and three rent controlled units.

Let’s tell the Planning Commission to deny the demolition and conditional use permits to the developer.

No more luxury housing!

Say “Yes!” to arts and community spaces, local jobs and affordable housing!
